The GM E38 ECM throttle can only be operated by an electronic gas pedal sensor. This kit converts the pedal sensor into a marine cable driven sensor for Mercruiser and Volvo Penta throttle cables. It also works with classic cars with existing throttle cables. YouTube - Throttle Sensor Cable Kit
